Kagami & Tsukasa Hiiragi Hatsumoude Set (Wave)

Finally the first PVC of Lucky Star is available . And it’s a great work from Wave , they even did better that the proto . Because yes , the proto had one problem , the eyes looked like they were bland , like Wave didn’t have anymore paint to do them correctly … But i can’t help but think they corrected that at the last minute , as they did something special to do the eyes . They put polish on the eyes , so now they look glossy 
. I think it’s a first time , correct me if i’m wrong .
Anyway i have to say that i’m totally impressed with Wave’s work , the paint job is really nicely done and the scult is just fine . Not spectacular in any way but fine . Maybe it’s the only downside with that figure , Wave did a great job , the Hiiragi’s twins looking exactly like in the original work but maybe the fans wanted something more original , more special pose or something . But still , it’s really nice and the base is awesome , with the shrine and all .
So yes , if you are a Lucky Star fan , don’t think , just buy . You can’t be wrong buying these ones , as Wave did a great job on them . And for once , we get exactly what we preordered (as it exactly like in the proto shots, but with better eyes) , even better . Sadly other manufacturers are shipping retail versions not as good as the protos … (who said Ringo ?)

I don’t normally go for the smaller ones like this, but it is Kagami. I know I can avoid this online, but if I’m seeing this at a convention…

I don’t want to prove you wrong LOL But my Enterbrain Yoko has glossy eyes as well. She is the only one I have like that though.

mmmm i love kagami but i’m still on the fence about this one ^^; perhaps tsukasa just isn’t doin it for me hehe… as you suggested to rats, mebbe i should just buy her separate…

Not bad. I think Wave put this one off.
Sadly, I didn’t preordered the limited edition and they are pretty much discontinued already and because it was from “Wave” but if I see it at this months con, I will get it.

They are looking nice!
Maybe a bit white in the face but that could be due to the background.

Kagami looks alright but tsukasa doesn’t look like her. looks like baby fat on her face.

Wow they look adorable, definitely like the base*they should make more bases like that with figures* Would want,but no money,especially when theirs tons of awesome figures by Alter/GSC coming out,so I’d have to pass on this one:/
