Lala Satalin Deviluke 1/8 (GoodSmile) review

Finally the princess of Deviluke is here , the awesome Lala by GoodSmile . I was really expecting the retail version , because the proto was awesome and i couldn’t wait to get her . And i’m not disapointed , as the folks at GoodSmile (Danny Choo did a post today about them here ) did an awesome work on her , and i can easily say that the painting , sculpt and overall look , it’s all flawless .

Lately , with all their futures releases for the second half of 2008 , GoodSmile became THE most impressive PVC figures maker , with some great looking figures and awesome poses (with a lots of one foot pose figures) .
Anyway , back to Lala . The work on her costume is impressive , with a lots of details and nice shading effects everywhere . The painting used on it (but only on the costume) is the glossy type , so it’s really beautiful and shines at light . The colors are awesome and the painting is so acurate , it’s stunning .
The pose is , like you can see on the pics , dynamic and sweet looking , and you can put her magic wand (so nicely detailed) or a second hand without it (yes she comes with an interchangeable hand) . Her “hat” (Peke , for those who knows the show or manga) can be taken off , and is nicely made too . Lala’s face is great too , with her stunning green eyes and her hair are nicely sculpted and painted .
The hair and the pose made us feel like she’s running of somewhere so it’s a proof the job is done the good way 
. And of course , Lala’s tail is here too and perfectly made ^^
So now , if you’re a fan of the show or a fan of awesome figures , go buy her . She’s going to be out of stock everywhere soon enough and she’s just stunning to look at . A must buy for any figures collectors . I hope my pics are going to make you buy her , she needs you !

Nice shoot. Was the pink bg. from the inside of the box cover? I luve her glossy costume. It makes the exterior shine. I luve the way how she’s posed. The hair is elegant and and full of beauty. The eyes, on man, those are some cute eyes and who could forget that luve shape tail. ^^
Now the BIG question remains. Why did I cancel her in the first place? Hmmmmm…. Oh, shit, the longer I think about it, that impulsive urge is coming back to me. >_<

@ nanu : yes , well using a telezoom it’s better than way , as i can better take pics of the actual figure than taking pics of the background . don’t think i made sense but oh well

Lala gets on my nerves. The more I watch the anime, the more I dislike her. Though I’ll grab this beautiful figure, beause I easily support her in the manga, when I can’t hear her
So it will be the same for a figure ^^
And I like what Hironori Tokunaga does.
I definitely prefer Yami-chan, most because she is the exact copy of Eve from Black Cat actually ^^;
Beautiful pictures, but I am affraid the pleasure to browse all of them has been spoiled since I couldn’t wait all to be loaded… my poor connexion suffers too much when there are a lot of pictures T_T (yeah… people with little adsl still exist hehe)

This Lala won’t lean but i believe she can fall , because the pegs are too little and she’s heavy … but the leg won’t bent , as it’s in ABS .
For Alter , i do trust them and i’m pretty sure it’ll be fine

I saw a colleague unbox her right before my very eyes and I must say Lala looks really nice up close, though it’s as though she’s going to fall off her stand at any given moment.
