Klan Klang macronized version 1/8 (Alpha/Omega) review

No big surprise this time , the retail version is exactly like the proto shots , with some little improvements . The fans of Macross F will find her awesome but those who don’t know about the show are going to be confused by her rather special style .
Technically it’s Alter (MegaHouse didn’t work at all on this one), there is no unsightly smudge or spots or bad painting . The overall figure looks like Lala from Alpha/Omega too , at least quality wise .
At the aesthetic level, the figurine is perfect too , balanced well with a nice and dynamic pose . Colors are beautiful with some gradations in hair and the details on the clothings are very impressive . The character of Klan is really well represented , in spite of a face a little different . But it’s not easy to respect the strange chara design of Klan in the show .
Alter proves us once again in this end of year that they are the masters at a pure technical level and we can see at first glance that Klan is a result from their work .
The perfect paining and the great overall look is just stunning , and if you want the proof the Alter is the best maker out there , just put Klan beside Miku (GoodSmile) and you’ll see .
And let’s not forget the nice looking base which respects well the universe of the series . One of the best base available ? I’m pretty sure it is .
9.7/10 for Macross F fans , 9/10 for the others .
Alter did it again and this Klan is surely one of their best work this year .
And well , who can say no to a cute loli with a sweet pose ?

as you say, i think a lot of her appeal is lost on me since i haven’t seen any macross ^^;;; despite my lack of exposure i can still appreciate her hair and pose ^_^ kawaii na~
