Brilliant Stage The Idolm@ster Haruka Amami and Yayoi Takatsuki 1/7 (MegaHouse) review

Why a double review today ?
I put these two figures together because it was meant to be like this . The boxes are exactly the same , the only difference is the numbers “1″ and “2″ on it .
So i’ll just review the pair , as i think buying just one of them mean only half the fun ^^
I had fun taking pics of the two together , they looks great like that .
Megahouse is really becoming one of the best figures maker . Their Portrait of Pirates series for the One Piece characters is a best seller now and i think that their work with Alter on the Alpha/Omega team is making them progress greatly . Megahouse work on the Gundam characters was good but it was missing something (like lots of Kotobukiya work , it misses something …) but now they have it , their work looks “alive” and it’s way better .
On each box , there is an interesting engrish part , it goes like this : “What are character figures made of ? Skill and sense and everything passion.
That’s what characters figures are made of.”
I thought that was really nice , don’t know if there is more on the other figures boxes from Megahouse .
Anyway , these two girls are exactly like i was expecting , meaning that they’re identical to the proto shoots . No surprises there .
The quality is quite high , with good painting and nice colors . The overall look is really great and the size (1/7 , 22 – 24 cm) added to top dynamic poses results on two very nice figures to have . The sculpt is not as precise as Alter or Good Smile but it’s not too far from them . Megahouse did a fine job and these two girls looks really sexy and cute .
Great dynamic poses , beautiful colors and nice painting for two sweet looking girls . A definite must buy for Idolm@ster fans and for fan of cute girls .
Good work from Megahouse , i’ll be sure to buy the rest of the group .

Je te conseille de craquer de suite vu qu’elles sont en rupture un peu partout … et si tu loupes une des filles du groupe , ca gache un peu le tout .
Ma review est notée sévère par rapport a mon avis personnel pour rester objectif , mais elles font partie de mes figurines préférées

Deux demoiselles pétillantes et dynamiques, mais un peu trop brillantes pour moi. Toutefois la qualité semble au rendez-vous!

Tu as raison, elles sont vraiment trop jolies.
Au départ je voulais les prendre, mais après réflexion, j’ai choisi de ne pas me lancer dans une collection pour laquelle, si t’en achète une, t’es pratiquement obligé d’acheter les autres (Et Mon Dieu qu’elles sont nombreuses).
Mais tes photos m’ont vraiment tué là.

je me demande s’ils vont faire Ami et Mami séparément ou une seule avec deux tetes interchangeables avec la mono-couette qui change de coté

you know i don’t know anything about idolmaster really! I just love their character designs! I saw a couple episodes of the anime and was bored and i know the game is different but i just adore their designs, their outfits and the silly dances they do.

My only complaint about those girls is the glitter on her outfit.I know what they tried to achieve with it but it didnt work out for me.
I recieved my first MegaHouse Figure a few days ago and im pleased aswell.Its great that those 2 actually look like the proto pictures.The Shunya Yamashita figure from ArtStorm i preordered has a absolutely terrible paintjob and is quite glossy :/

Unfortunately, I’m an Idolmaster fan of the anime. *don’t hit me* T_T
Yeah, I can see Megahouse is starting to pickup the pace and making great figures. When I saw my Clare one from them, I realised they are changing for the better which is good.
Love the shoot. It looked like they were dancing which is great. ^^

Me too an Idolmaster fan both of the anime and the game, but actually I love them because of their songs… xD
As for the figures I really like the pose,costume and really nice detail, but I found that I’m not quite fond of their faces… Looks a bit weird to me… ;_; Not MOE enough maybe… xD

Sinon, elles sont vraiment très chouettes, surtout Yayoi *_*.
Ca m’embête un peu de passer à côté, je prierai pour pouvoir augmenter mon budget figurines… surtout avec 2009 qui s’annonce énorme niveau sorties
Sinon, je pense que le plus beau duo serait Yayoi et Yukiho… mes deux préférées ^^. (Je n’irai pas jusqu’à demander que tu fasses une photo des deux ensemble quand tu recevras Yukiho, je ne me permettrais pas :$ )
