Here’s Signum , from the anime Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Strikers (what a name) .
No surprises there , Alter knows how to make good figures and this one is , like always , exactly like the proto shoots . The big Signum stands at a good 29 cm (32 with the sword) and is quite impressive . You can’t miss her , even in a room full of figures , because of her size and fierce pose .
The best thing with Signum is that for once , we get a woman and not a loli in swimsuit . It’s a nice change for a while . And for the fans of the show , she is a must buy for sure . The only downside is maybe the “metallic” parts from her armor , i think the paint looks too much plastic , it doesn’t look too good (the sword too) … Hayate had the same problem on her but it was kinda fine , as these parts were golden , but i wish they used the same paint they did with Gwendolyn … It’s a minor grip yes , but with a figure that big , it would have made a difference . But still , the pose is impressive , the pain work is well done (minus the metal parts) and the overall look is nice . The one foot pose may looks scary , but the is a metal bar is her foot so it should be ok .
Great work from Alter (again !) and fans of the anime won’t miss the oportunity to buy the best woman from the show .

i agree it would really be great if they’d use actual metal or metal plated stuff or whatever they did for vita’s graf eisen. plain ‘ol gray just doesn’t do the armor/sword justice. thanks for the link, and as always, great pics ^_^ gives me something to work towards
i’ve also got hiyori on her way… but for once i’m being a little more responsible with my spending and combined her with some other january releases… probably won’t get her for at least another week or two… guess i’ll have to make do with your review in the meantime ^_^

Ur the 4th person I know who got her. I’m surprised as I thought she was the unpopular one compared to Hayate. ^^
I agree, she does looks awesome and it’s hard to not notice her, even in my crowd of ladies consisting of swimsuits, maids and loli’s xD
The downside in my one is her left leg is kinda smudged but not visible unless u look really hard.
Still it does bother me. -_-

L’ensemble de la figurine est superbe! Belles finitions partout. Je suis épatée.
Je pensais qu’elle me ferait démarrer la collection des Nanoha, mais malgré tout, non…

I have Signum too….sadly…she’s too big for my set…
I need to somehow find a big enough paper to fit her…
Alter seem to have a trend of the big box with the Nanoha series….LOL…her box is so big…

Une petite merveille de finition et de réalisation avec le dynamisme qui caractérise Signum dans Magical Nanoha. Mais pour moi, n’accrochant pas au personnage, ni à la tenue (goût d’esthétisme à la con), elle ne viendra pas chez moi. En tout cas, tu as fais de très jolies photos, et une review sympa comme d’habitude, en peu de temps (vu ce que tu me disais via texto). Bref, chapeau !

One of my favorite figures from Nanoha series but as I mentioned before I don’t trust those poses.
Besides the pose the details and paint job is simply amazing, top notch work from Alter. What attracts me more on this figure is her eyes, when we look at her we can see two faces, one smiling kind face and the one is the face of the warrior with serious eyes.
How is she holding on to the base? Is there a metal bar in her leg?

Great figure from Alter as usual. Ack I gotta resume watching the series soon…
Very dynamic pose there, though I agree with Gordon that she looks a bit odd from the left hand side. I am very picky on figures, but I may consider getting Fate once the coloured ver. is out… Maybe… ._.

Signum is one of my favourite characters of nanoha series. XD
I MUST get her when i have extra cash. Nowadays pretty tight as SGD is very weak against yen. I hope alter can make one with her hair down. *nose bleed*

According to some pics that I saw for another review (can’t remember which one), there are 2 holes under her right foot and one of the hole has a little metalic bar.
I also would like to know : the material of the foot is PVC or ABS?
I am still hesitating to buy her… when I see the pics, the quality is Alter’s one (great) but I tell myself it could have been better : for example, Alter could have done a Laevatein in Schlangenform (Snake form) as extra-item… the scabbard is sticked in her left hand : it would have been better if it were removable. Besides the sword can’t go in it -_-
yeah I know I’m dreaming *sigh*
to buy or not to buy… that’s the question.
By the way I wonder if unisson versions will be released…

Just saw Meropan’s review and then saw yours… wow, Signum is great! She going to be my biggest yet judging from the size. I thought the paint used on Hayate’s armour plates are kinda plastic too. But guess that’s the only downside of a great figure. I am gald to hear of the metal bar to her foot because Vita doens’t come with one and I am kinda scared of her beaking off. Anyway, after looking at so many great reviews, can’t wait for my Signum to arrive! ^^

Shes the first girl with a Nanoha Origin i actually like!

T’as peur qu’elle penche? Il me semble qu’elle a le même système de fixation que Haruka Takamori? Mais c’est vrai que Haruka semble plus légère…

She stole the umbrella off my cocktail. I’ll let her keep it though since she’s got a sword. Big figures are good though. Somehow, other than Gwendolyn I’m missing out on the big and bold ones lately…must be holding off on the Nanoha figs, though I did order Teana.
