Creators' Labo #009 Simca 1/6 (Yamato) review

A little review of a gift i made to myself this week , the beautiful Simca cold cast from Yamato . I wanted her for like one year and i finally bought her . It’s easily the best prepainted resin in the market and she’s maybe my favorite girl in my collection . I don’t think lots of people have her and i hope after seing lots of pictures , you’re going to try to find her , because she’s just awesome .
9.8/10 . A total biased rating , because she’s my favorite . An awesome and tall (280 mm high) resin figure , with a big heavy beautiful base , the most awesome dynamic and sexy pose ever and beautiful colors . The painting is of course flawless and her face and expression looks so beautiful and sweet . The wheels on her shoes can really turn , they’re real ones . And of course there is a big metal bar in her shoe so she won’t fall . A must buy for everyone . If you only need one figure , it’s this one .

Cold cast -> I can’t imagine how much you paid her.
I had the CL#13 (PVC) but the number 9 is really much better according to your pics!
Nonetheless I did not understand the way she stands

114 euros pour une fig aussi grande et belle , je regrette pas , c’est le meme prix que je paye les figs PVC a cause de la douane :/

Nan, mais elle a vraiment l’air très jolie, classe et mignonne
Les plis de ses vêtements sont vraiment bien fichus, ils s’accordent bien avec son corps à moitié tourné.
A exposer en 3/4 face je pense

nice figurine, especially because it’s from Yamato =\
you definitely need to add more frontal lighting for the white BG, the white BG need to have same figurine color with the gray background
been waiting for you to fix that issue for months already, but not sure if you noticed it =\

she looks like shes actually flying or hovering in the white BG. her paint and sculpt are flawless,shes quite a looker,I can see her on my desk right now >.> ….hey I can dream right:D great review bro 10/10

Elle est superbe! Je suis contente que tu l’ais trouvé. La dernière fois que l’on s’est vu, tu bavais devant la boutique du Yumeland, mais avec le prix… Elle est vraiment belle, beaucoup de détails et une qualité assez impressionnante. Au niveau des photos, j’ai une préférence pour la deuxième série sur fond gris, je trouve que cela met davantage en valeur les couleurs. Mais bon, je suis une râleuse, tu le sais ^^

how to make it not washed out 
I’m sure you can do it
the max factory seena also have that problem (but still in the okay range tho).
the key is the range of the figurine to the background, make sure is not too close.

I have a bright screen so i can say that i still like the pics on white , but i do understand what you mean . But my flash is not powerfull enough and more white is going to destroy the pics
. But i’ll try to do better next time 
. But problem is : i’m forced to have the figure close to the background , so i guess i have no choice .

hmm… think of a way to block the bg light so the light wont hit the figurine too hard, and you don’t need to use flash, then after that use the same lighting that you use for non white bg, this way your white bg pics should be improved

This is one clean figure
280mm? Wow that’s quite tall, especially as it’s 1/6. I sometimes do wonder where you store and display so many figures, as I’m planning to have the upcoming 1/7 Alter Fate (which will hopefully be my third ever figure) and I’m already having trouble deciding where to put her @_@

Très belle acquisition James!!! Pour de la résine à l’échelle 1/6, je trouve que tu as fait une très bonne affaire.
), on remarque qu’il reste une petite bille de polystyrène coincé sous le bas de sa robe. 
En tout cas, elle est très sympa cette Simca, avec une pose très dynamique comme j’aime.
Quand à tes photos, elles sont très jolies. D’ailleurs, sur celles que tu as pris de son pantsu (“pervers”

Oh Great !!!
Physical position is incredible. Successfully maintain such a balance in this position, it’s great. Accomplishment and fun shooting.
Air gear series is aimed at young people and exchange Tenjo tenge (which I prefer;)). The figure is, however faithful to his designs.

Have to agree with ~ron, you have to have good distance between your wthie bg and figure. Everything else is perfect!
hmm… it’s been a while since I last commented here and the layout has changed (good thing!). Now that it’s really wide, would be it be possible to post higher resolution image from now on?

Haha its really rare but this is one of the few figures where You and I are on the same wavelength!
Really beautyful picture with many things to ogle over.I really love her dynamic bodylines.
Didnt know that her wheels do turn aswell.Just one more example of great craftmanship
