Louise Gothic Punk Version 1/8 (Alter) review

More under the cut

Here’s Alter version of our favorite tsundere , the awesome Louise . Standing at a good 20 cm (1/8 scale) , Louise is depicted showing us her new maid uniform (with a gothic punk style) . I know all Louise fans were waiting for this release for long , and now that she’s here , i can only say that nobody will be disapointed . People at Alter , as usual , did a great job and this Louise is going to please everyone who love the character .

The paint job is great , with a particular attention to details on Louise ribbons and her boots . The colors used are not flashy or anything , and that’s a great choice , as it makes her look more “realistic” in a way … Louise is detailled nearly everywhere , her clothes looks great and her face and eyes are really beautiful . Stunning eyes color is always a plus . But the best part must be her hair , and the ribbons in it . I just LOVE it , it’s a great idea and it’s so pretty . And it makes Louise stands out from all the other maids figures (and there is a lot !) in the market . The base (especially being from Alter) is quite great , looking good and not being big as usual . Nice choice , i sure hope they”ll try to make more good bases like that one …

9/10 The best Louise figure available yet . An overall flawless figure , with a great base , great colors and painting and beautiful eyes and hair . Another great work from Alter .

I want this figurine haha, but I didnt make pre-order since I’m waiting for AU$ getting better (or sale), this one definitely in my buy list when I go japan this year:)

Ah ! Louise et moi c’est une grande histoire d’amour, hein Pitachou ? Mon alter ego, ma douce moitiée, une créature si adorable et à la fois si violente. Aaah, les tsundere ! Quelle merveilleuse invention (Taiga, Kyou…).

Cette version est tout bonnement magnifique ! Il y a un travail assez impressionnant sur la sculpture, notamment au niveau des cheveux avec les nœuds (qui t’ont fais craquer si je me souviens). Même si elle n’est pas fidèle, contrairement à la version uniforme, c’est une adaptation que j’adore et que j’attends avec la plus grande impatience. Peut-être est-ce même celle que j’attends le plus dans les mois à venir ^^ La mienne devrait partir d’ici le début de la semaine, mais ça va être long d’attendre! Surtout que tes photos sont magnifiques. Tu as crée un merveilleux rendu avec cette nouvelle technique car le blanc se détache de la figurine, et chaque couleur est parfaitement mise en valeur!

Bref, Pitachou, t’es trop fort, le meilleur ! Et je suis contente que ce soit toi qui m’ai appris les quelques notions que j’ai de la photographie. Tu es un merveilleux professeur, et tes photos, même si tu n’y crois pas, sont très belles à chaque fois (avec des préférences avec Louise ou Dip Mou, bien entendu). Bref, t’es chou !

I don’t know the character but I absolutely love this figure! Your review actually share my thoughts. I am fixated with the crazy amount of ribbons on her hair too. So I always refer to her as the crazy girl…LOL… crazily adorable girl that is. ^^

Some pictures a a bit overlighted but the rest is fine! You gotta try different things after all to improve ^^
I dont think i commented on the way you highlight certain parts of your review with a bold font yet,so:
I like it that way.If you are short one time you can get a quick glimpse at the good and bad points of a figure

Cette Louise est magnifique en tout point. Je trouve que c’est la plus jolie représentation en figurine de la tsundere aux cheveux roses. J’ai été un peu déçu de la version school uniform.
Le rendu visuel de tes photos est très différent de d’habitude. Je ne sais pas ce que tu as changer mais c’est beaucoup plus (+) lumineux et plus détaillé. Du coup, le fond blanc disparaît et le “pas de fond” prend le dessus.
Franchement bravo à toi. ♥

Pas fan de Leon… Louise en général ( ) ainsi que de sa série (longue et chiante, à force avec de si courtes saisons… c’est qu’il y a un problème ^^”).

Mais cette figurine est clairement impressionnante, je trouve aussi les photos bien mieux, tu n’as pas besoin de prévenir que tu as changé ton installation… ça se voit bien et c’est plus agréable. (Le blanc est moins envahissant… tu prends tes photos plus loin du fond ? ) et la figurine est plus éclairée de face. ^^

Une figurinne qui a l’air très chouette (Personnellement, je ne prendrai pas, j’ai déjà du mal à prendre les belles figurines de mes séries préférées…), les cheveux, les rubans, le visage bien expressif comme il faut. (même s’il ne me parait pas concorder avec la pose, elle salue quelqu’un en râlant ? Mouais, c’est Leo…ouise… )

Not a fan of Gothic figures despite one of the characters I love. I still prefer her school uniform one with the dynamic pose. That version is on my wishlist but unfortunatly this one is not even though she looks flawless.

Neat review, and like Blowfish said, the highlights make it quite practical… Like that new style of bright setting you tried (although, no shot of the base?). And she does look like the ultimate Louise; I’m so glad I ordered her…cute and crazy, frowning while wearing a slightly nonsensical outfit: just like Louise should be. :3 Caziro is a heathen; her series may not always be at its best, but Louise is adorable. ‘Nuff said.

Louise est aussi un de mes persos préférés et cette version est trop craquante !! j’adore les noeuds dans les cheveux et ce style “punk/gothic”
ce qui m’avait fait craquer aussi c’est la botte avec la tête :p trop chou !!
