Yoko 1/5 (Gift) review

Here’s finally the 1/5 Yoko from Gift . The proto shots were already looking good but the retail version is at least as much impressive ! This Yoko is quite big (even with the pose) and very detailled for a 1/5 figure . Usually i find bigger figures less detailled than their 1/8 counterparts , but that’s not the case here . People from Gift have made an impressive job making this Yoko and it’s great to see that they bring us what they promised .
Technically , i can’t find anything bad to say about this Yoko , everything is just flawless and , personal opinion , looks better than any Alter or Max Factory figure i’ve seen lately … The paint job is impressive and the choice to make the hair not shiny was the best one (and it’s good to see a real beautiful red on Yoko’s hair for once …) . Her clothes are painted with shiny colors and very detailled too (look at those thigh high and those boots !) and Yoko’s body curves are sure to charm any figure collector . But what makes me so in love with her must be her eyes (real ones that is , even if the other ones are nice too) , so stunning and painted to the perfection . Yoko’s face is just mesmering and i can’t stop looking at her . And that’s a proof of a great figure and it’s the way it should always be . And i forgot , the round mirror base is awesome too .
9.6/10 The best Yoko available , period . And a stunning figure , with flawless painting , a great (and sweet) pose , beautiful colors and a mirror base . Did i say her face was the most awesome ever ?

i love how they made her hair, not only the tone of red but the fact that it wasn’t shiny. just a beautiful creature!

Très sympa tes photos, on a plus cette impression de “contre-jour” (acquisition d’une nouvelle lampe ?)

Looks like they used the same mirror base they used on Saber.
I wonder if they are going to use it with every figure from now on.
Nice figure but her pose is a bit too innocent for me ^^

Ta technique pour les photos est vraiment chouette ^^.
Et je suis très content que tu penses la même chose que moi de cette figurine… (t’auras mit un moment à l’avoir cela dit, ça fait deux semaines que je l’ai moi
Je pense que des couleurs chaudes feraient de belles photos d’elle aussi ^^. Superbe figurine à tout les niveaux, j’ai beau ne pas être fan de fortes poitrines, là, je suis archi-conquis, comme quoi, quand c’est bien fait, tout peut être bien ^^. Les courbes de son ventres, de ses cuisses, la jointure avec les collants, les bottes, les “gants”… tout est vraiment super, j’ai vraiment pas de point négatif à lui donner. ^^
Et c’est vrai que je n’avais pas fait attention plus que ça, mais les cheveux sont d’une très très belle couleur, bien rouge, sans être flashy ^^.
Vraiment, des deux figurines de Gift que j’ai, je n’ai rien à redire dessus… ils sont très très forts et je sens (et j’espère, vu que Saber a pas trop bien marché apparemment :s ) que ça ne fait que commencer

Lovely figure, Gift is definitely doing something right. I am not familiar with Yoko but this leaves me wonder what it could have been if they did the head of Gift Saber like they did with Gift Yoko, if only.

The face is really the standout feature of this figure. So cute it will make almost anyone scream for kawaiiness. xD
Despite that, I’m waiting for the Koto one. Her winking face mode has captured my heart. xD

Merci , et pour te dire franchement , je prefere qu’on me dise ce qui ne va pas sur les photos ou ce que je peux améliorer plutot que des compliments
. Je n’ai jamais été tres fan des compliments , surtout que je ne les mérite pas , je suis encore loin d’etre bon … Mon but est de faire les meilleures photos des figurines , histoire de les montrer telles qu’elles sont en vrai , et c’est tout 
Mais je suis content si cette série plait , c’est ma préférée et la plus proche de ce que j’essaie d’obtenir …

I’m glad that you got her and reviewed her. I preordered this because the price was too good to pass up for me and I was happy with the FREEing bunny girls (mostly). After seeing your review, I can say that I’m glad that I preordered her as she looks gorgeous and the scale is awesome as well.

really wish i had held back on the enterbrain version. i’d much rather have this one in her place. i need at least one figure of her with her gun, but alter’s release will cover that. so now i’m torn… i’d like to get this one… and the ‘realistic’ version too… orz saving money is hard ;_;
