Nankyoku Sakura Goth-Loli Yukata Version 1/8 (Good Smile) review

The Good Smile version of Sakura is more simple than the more dynamic Alter version . So why choosing this one ? I guess it depend of people taste . I personally think maids ouftfit are too much used on figures and the yukata from the Good Smile version is a nice change . Sakura looks so cute and delicate in this that it’s hard to not buy her . But Alter version is more fun/crazy and totally showing the personality of Sakura in the anime . So if you really a fan of this girl , you know you’ll have to buy the two versions .
Technically we have a really nice looking figure , with a sweet pose and a beautiful outfit , but maybe too simple . The painting is indeed good , like we expect from Good Smile but there’s nothing really impressive , it’s just on par with previous Good Smile figures . Still , the yukata is really gorgeous and i just love it .
8/10 A nicely made figure , but not impressive in any way . Still , Sakura is a sweet girl in pretty clothes , you can’t say no to a yukata …
Don’t forget to check the Alter maid version of Sakura at Meronpan’s .
And i wanted to say sorry for not posting for a while , my LCD screen decided to die … So i had to wait to buy a new one … So i am late with all my reviews , lots more coming soon .
Not really happy with those pics , hard to work on a new screen …

Lovely pictures as always. I can’t see any differences even with ur new screen. Ur just too good mate. ^^
She does indeed look very pretty and I love the yukata design. If I had a choice to choose between her or the Alter version, I would choose her. ^^

Oh quelle est choute ! De jolies photos (je préfère toujours celle de Louise ^^). Shad avait pré-commandé la demoiselle, mais l’a annulé faute de sous quand il va passer par là, il va la regretter je pense.Moi j’aurai bien voulu un mix entre la version d’Alter (pour la finition, le socle et le visage) et la Good Smile Company (par la tenue et l’aspect kawai).

I’d go for GSC’s version over Alter’s as well. Was pretty tempted to pick up this version while holidaying around and this review is tempting me even more to just pick her up online now ^^; The yukata is definitely something different and would provide a nice change of view as compared to all the other maid outfits available.

That’s a cute figure, not a very dynamic figure but it’s very lively as she is now
I listened to your advise to try different settings with my camera and I took a photo session with my Feena Atelier Sai version, I “think” the photos look better than any of my previous attempt this time. I adjusted the aperture to about F4.0, shutter speed about 1/30 and ISO 200. I shall continue to experiment with different settings. But thanks for your advise!

Ce n’est pas une figurine que j’achèterai mais elle est très mignonne dans cette tenue.
Je préfère d’ailleur cette version à celle d’Alter.

I couldn’t decide between Alter’s and GSC’s so I got both as a result. And I am pleased too as I like both a lot. As you mentioned, Alter really brought Sakura to life while GSC’s yukata outfit is too sweet to pass.

Hey you did good with the shots even with the different screen, still amazing photographer as always bro ^^ As for the figure she looks lovely, it’s good to have a nice placid figure with all the dynamic figures out these days ^^ If I could I would get both but this one is more better than Alter’s I think, but both make Penguin Girl look good ^^

did you try f7.1 and iso 100 ?

While the maid outfit of Alters Sakura may be overused i prefered it for its perfect incarnation of her personality.I know that this one is canon aswell but it isnt giving me the same vibes as the other one.GSCs Sakura is just a cute girl in Yukata while Alters is simply Penguin!
This one isnt bad,not at all but her pose is a bit plain for my taste aswell.
I guess it depends on your preferences in the end
