Black Aries 1/8 (Alter) review

And here’s finally the review of Black Aries, from the visual novel “Makai Tenshi Djibril”. I know i didn’t post much again lately, but next week there will be more to read.
Anyway, i have not much to say about Aries, it’s Alter’s quality, she looks exactly like the protoshots so it’s hard to be disappointed about anything. The colors are maybe too flashy and it’s again a one foot pose, so it won’t please some people but other than that, it’s a beautiful figure in a great pose, perfectly painted and a stunning cute face.
A cute figure with vibrant colors and a dynamic pose. Great job from Alter but the base could have been better and the style and colors are not gonna please everyone.

Belle série de photos Pitachou, ça redonne le sourire de voir une si adorable figurine et de retrouver tes photos ^^ Toujours aussi belles, en passant, mais ça, tu le sais déjà. Par contre, je sais pas si je préfère sur fond blanc ou noir ^^ Boulette je sais !

I really love how well the eyes came out in the first several photos, but maybe if possible should’ve used more depth so the claw had been in focus as well? Yeah, asking for a lot
I think blue and red works well, but overall, I’d rather if this figure’s paint-scheme was warmer, so I’d have used something more yellow instead of the green for some bits, you know?
I much prefer the white background photoshoot, there it seems properly gold, not green. Hm, maybe it’s green-tinged gold? Seen that before.

I can’t make the claw and her face in focus . I take all my pics in manual focus and my lens is sharper at f4 and f7.1 . To get the Claw and face , i would have to take my pics with at least f11 or f16 . And i would lose too much sharpness
And you see , that’s why i’m not a fan of black background ! For some figures , the colors changes and are not like they should be ! You’re right , it’s gold paint , not green
The white background shows the colors as they are so yeah ^^

Great pictures!! I like the hair of the figure but I think it would be very easy to break the hair tails, so use with caution.

Nice photo! I especially liked the how she fit in with the black background – Not as contrast as the white one. ^^
Loli + dynamic pose = I’m sold! :-p If only I have some extra money lying around ^^;;
The only turndown of Alter is that they like to make less than interesting base – usually white base then smack the logo of anime/game on it. Is that why you avoided it in your photo shoot? “=p

le fond blanc fait bien ressortir les couleurs de la figurine … mais je trouve que ça lui donne un aspect flashy .. je préfère le fond noir qui met mieux en valeur la demoiselle

Not exactly my type of figure but I guess the execution is well done.Im not so fond of that blush of her since it seems a but rough.
Its crazy how Alter and GSC are lately making all those one leg pose figures just because they can do it nowadays with the quality ABS thats used.Its kinda sad that those great one legged figures dont feel that special anymore since they are now avaiable like sand at the beach

Je regrette juste sa chevelure qui gagnerait à être plus dense. Mais à part ça, elle est très jolie. Et j’aime particulièrement son côté ténébreux avec sa main droite.
Concernant les photos, je préfère celles sur fond blanc où les couleurs de la figurine ressortent mieux.

Awesome shoot always. I reckon the stand out feature of her is the elegant pose and the dark suited dress. Almost can pull of a sexy pose if u ask me. xD

Nice but white balance for black background photos are a bit off? (The white backgrounds are perfect though, great job!)

yeah n maybe the white balance is indeed off but i think it’s more because of the colors of the figure , usually my settings works normally
