I believe i’ll be the only one giving a bad review to this one, please read my conclusion at the end of the post before insulting/throwing rocks at me ^^
World Is Mine is only getting three Exelica out of five.
Good: Framed base is awesome, looks great on a wall
Bad: Sculpt not so awesome (it’s ok but not really detailled), paint job is not precise at all (dots, sloppy painting and difference of colors between the samples), and the quality check is awful, you have little chance to get a flawless WIM (from what i’ve seen)
Wow great quality control, no writing at all on the base, if you think i was harsh with this review, this picture says it all … My friend got this WIM, his version got an ok paint work but no World is Mine inscription … (edit : now another friend told me the hair on his WIM is ending semi translucid … and his base is poorly painted too …)
So in total with the seven WIM i’ve seen/had in hands, only three got correct painting and one doesn’t have the WIM text. I’m sorry but i think it’s the worst control quality check i’ve ever seen, Good Smile did report the figure, but seeing the results, i don’t know why they did … But at least they’re making their nendos right, so it’s fine, no ? …
I’m pretty mad at Good Smile right now, so i hope Black Rock Shooter is really going to be awesome …
Now for World Is Mine, it’s still a good figure if you plan to put it as a frame on the wall, it will look great and it’s very original. And at least on the wall, you won’t see the paint problems or the missing text 
I’m sorry i’m very mean with this figure, i do love my World Is Mine a lot, but it’s really sad to see this much problems on a figure pushed back for a reason we don’t even know.

She does look terrific overall but it’s sad to hear so many have quality issues, getting a flawed figure can really ruin the entire experience…

Elle est belle tout de même. C’est vrai que la sculpture n’est pas aussi impressionnante que d’autres, mais bon, l’ensemble demeure agréable. J’aime beaucoup le style et la base. Tes photos sont jolies, même si tu as dis que tu avais galéré. Félicitation chou !

Mais oui qu’elle est belle, mais les differences entre les figs sont intolérables … Celle de Jinto n’a meme pas d’inscription, on paye quand meme dans les 100 euros pour avoir une fig PVC, alors si elle est pas complete ou avec des tachez de peinture …

Oui, il m’en avait parlé. Ca me rappelle beaucoup la Alice de AxO, qui avait des soucis d’une à l’autre (avec les accessoires, sans la queue et cie). Avec la promo qu’ils ont fait, et le retard de deux-trois mois, elle aurait du être parfaite.

Slapdash work shouldn’t be distributed at all …

Nice shots with the Christmas lighting in the background! I really like the mood it creates.
It’s too bad that the QC doesn’t seem good, though I have no noticed any issues in the pictures I’ve seen. However in person it’s an entirely different matter. I hope I’m not disappointed when mine arrives, I don’t think I should be, she still looks great I think.
I find it odd that there’d be missing text, thta seems to say ‘bootleg’ to me more than a QC issue. But then, bootlegs are usually pretty terrible quality, and if the rest of the figure was fine it would be hard to believe it were a bootleg. That’s really strange, I really like GSC but they seem to be lacking as of recent. Tons of delays and then seemingly nothing to show for the delay. It makes me a little nervous about all the upcoming figures I have pre-ordered from GSC. I’m not going to cancel them of course, but I do feel somewhat uneasy.

Thanks , yeah i loved taking the pics in front of the christmas tree for my 3 last reviews ^^
To see some paint dots and bad finish , you can check the pic on white background , you should see them
It’s for these moment that i should have a macro lens but i don’t
The missing text one is not a bootleg, as it’s from Ami Ami. So it’s really another mistake from GSC … I was clearly disapointed by GSC this year (Hiyori Pixy) and now with this one … They should stop their nendoroids spam and makes great figures again … (and yes i do hate nendos and figmas
)
At least Alter never disapoints (and Max Factory too)
I hope Black Rock Shooter is going to be awesome …

I’m not a fan of the Nendoroids either, though figmas have grown on me. Drossel and Kagamiku helped out in that respect.
Do you mean the paint dots on the base? That is rather strange. That seems like something that would have been easily fixable as well.
Alter and Max Factory disappoint if you buy older figures by them, I have a few that aren’t super great. Colours are off, sculpting is very simplistic, or pieces of them seem to be entirely different colours than the rest. But their current line ups always seem quite good.

Glad someone shares my not love for Nendoroids
. I mean i have some and it was good at first but now for one scale figure annonced, there is like 10 nendoroids …
I have lots of Max Factory and Alter old figures , no probleme with them, and it’s surely not 1 or 2 good figures out of 7 ^^

My example for Alter would be their Eri Sawachika, her skin colour is quite terrible. And an example for Max Factory would be their Mao figure which also has off colour skin. Additionally I find that Max Factory figure to have a rather simplistic sculpt, though admittedly a very simplistic figure in the first place.
I totally do not understand why they release so many Nendoroids other than they seem to be enormously popular, which is something I also can’t seem to comprehend. They aren’t cute… Though I admit Kodomut uses them to produce some fun posts.

Yeah i saw your Eri review and Mao too ^^
As for Max Factory, for me, they’re the best paint wise, i love the color they use and the paint job is always of high quality. And i have all the Shinning swimsuit figures minus Mao ^^
And Kodomut does indeed do fun posts with his nendos, but i see nendos on every blog and that bores me now
. I began to hate them after seeing all the releases and preorders for them … Way too much exposition for them …

Whilr I wouldnt buy her I love that look on her face as if shed start humping the viewer any minute.The bad quality control is a real bummer though.I cant understand how this got through QC.On another hand I cant say how awesome your pictures are.Your christmas tree makes such an awesome background.Its like everywheres something going on.
This makes me wanna have a DSLR so oooo bad oh and I wish you a happy new year mate ^^

hmmm really weird about the base completely missing the inscription -_- usually that screams bootleg, but you say it’s from amiami? very strange/disappointing that such a glaring fault made it through ;_;

Interesting. I know that there is a bit of variance from figure to figure, but it’s kind of odd to have the text totally missing from one of them. Maybe with the delays maybe there’s different runs of the figure accounting for difference, not that it makes it good, just guessing.

Sad to hear that she faced several QC problems. Before that I already read the outrage from a Taiwan figure forum about how bad was the QC of WIM done. But I didn’t expect to turn out this bad. On the other hand, from I have seen, BRS was delivered nicely. Perhaps GSC put more effort on BRS?
With that being said, you still managed to take great photos of WIM. ^^

Je n’ai jamais beaucoup accroché à ce “dérivé” de Miku Hatsune. Je préfère largement BRS.
En tout cas, même s’il est évident qu’elle possède quelques défauts, elle reste pas moins un fantastique objet de déco pour son intérieur.
Au faite, si ça continue, tu vas toutes les acheter en double tes figs …. j’ai cru comprendre que tu allais recevoir deux BRS.

It is a bit surprising to see a number of quality problems on the figure. No text, one leg lacks the shiny surface etc. It sure sounds like poor quality control to me. It’s even more shocking to hear from you that out of 7 that you have seen personally only 3 got done properly, and I didn’t hear much of this problem over in ToysDaily forum last month. This sure baffles me a bit.
I guess you can’t return it back to the online store for a new one in this case? One way or the other it’s still kinda disappointing to know. I hope the BRS you receive will be in good quality.

Tes photos sont vraiment magnifiques.
Je fais de la photo depuis un certain nombre d’années, mais j’ai énormément de mal avec les photos de figurines…
Moi, j’ai perdu, mais le plus important c’est de participer !
Sinon pour cette figurine, j’avais hésité à la prendre à l’époque, parce que pour moi, ce sont les Nendoroid en premier, et le reste si je peux… et à l’époque je ne pouvais pas !
J’aime bien le principe de mettre la figurine sur le mur… par contre ça doit être une belle galère pour la poussière !

Je ne me souvenais meme plus avoir envoyé une photo lol, il m’a fallu 10 minutes pour comprendre de quel concours tu parlais (et puis je venais de me reveiller, ca n’aide pas

Bref je n’aime pas du tout ma série de photos de WIM, mais content si tu apprécie
Oui je sais que toi c’est surtout nendos, les nendos c’est tres chouettes en grand nombre, ca fait vraiment classe dans une collection. Mais je n’accroche pas, de part la petite taille et toujours la meme pose et type de visage. Je trouve ca ennuyeux, mais ca n’est que mon avis ^^
