Sora Kasugano 1/8 (Megahouse) review

More under the cut

Another girl from an eroge, the cute Sora from the game “Yosuga no Sora”. She is quite a hard figure to review. She looks quite simple and not colorful at all. And that’s a problem, as i know lots of people didn’t order her because of that. And she doesn’t looks too good in pictures.

Don’t take me wrong, i love the way she looks, but compared to all the colorful figures we’re getting lately (and i’m not even speaking of the dynamic poses and great bases), she will look boring to some, too simple to others. But for me, that’s what i like about her. I love the more realistic colors, the nice proportions of her body (more realistic too), her cute shy expression, and the melancolic feeling i get just looking at her. And i love her legs, because for once, we get a figures with knees, yes, detailed knees, at least way more than usual. As i’m a legs lover, i’m quite grateful for that ^_^.

Sora looks great and her body is nicely sculpted and proportioned, she has a cute face and it’s even better with her towel (nicely done too). Her shyness and the way she’s trying to envelopp herself with her towel are totally cute. Her hair is nicely painted too with no paint dots or anything. Overall the paint job is fine, not as good as, let’s say Alter, but it’s still nice. And don’t forget the rabbit, totally cute too.

Good work from Megahouse but nothing spectacular either. it’s Megahouse so it is exactly as expected, never worth, never better.

A melancolic shy cute and delicious looking girl named Sora is waiting for you. Maybe you should pick her. She is worth it, i promise you.

Oh no >.< I feel I want to buy it
I am surprised MH produces figures that come from eroges (most of times, it is about POP, Bleach, etc)… I am also surprised it is successful 'cause it's sold out everywhere (yeah \o/) I'll be patient 'cause I think MH will rerelease her.
Shapes around the thoracic cage, the knees are highlighted with the painting, that's one of the things I like. You choosed nice colors for the backgrounds for the photos
By the way how is the nail polish?

Elle est vraiment trop adorable. Niveau sculpture, elle n’a certes rien d’extraordinaire (aucune surprise), mais je la trouve tout simplement adorable ! J’aime beaucoup et je craque devant son visage et son expression. Mon exemplaire est enfin parti du Japon ce matin. Il va donc me falloir patienter encore deux bonnes semaines. Ca va être dur.

She looks good but plain as you say. The pose is nice though, don’t see a pose where the figure looks like she’s in a boxing tournament lol. I actually like the bunny more than the figure lol. The bunny looks cute with the ears bent and the little bow tie on its neck.

elle est vraiment adorable y a pas ^__^ j’avais hésité et au final, non (comme beaucoup d’ailleurs) elle a un visage tout mignon et avec le petit lapin, ça la rend encore plus attachante ^^

je n’ai jamais hésité a la préco, je savais que la photo du proto était ratée (comme souvent chez Megahouse) donc je n’ai jamais douté de la qualité de la fig finale.

A fetish for sexy legs huh. I didn’t know that.
Indeed the colours are kinda dull. Looks like the colours of her two-piece is to match the colours of her hair which, in sense seems to be a more natural choice in colour preference.
I’m a fan of bright coloured swimsuit figures so she was a miss for me.

Theres nothingw rong with a plain character from time to time since not everybody can be all colourful and impressing.I prefer an accurate depiction of a character over an out of character one

Oh bah tiens, je n’avais pas vu que tu avais fais une review d’elle.
Ayant bien aimé le personnage de Sora dans la série (la seule qui a un vrai caractère quoi…), je me suis mise à chercher les figurines de cette petite.
Il n’y a décidément que celle là qui me plait vraiment et elle a vraiment l’air belle !
Bien que super statique, elle semble avoir un petit peur de mouvement au niveau de le chevelure et de la serviette. Bien que, aussi, bien simple, elle dégage son fameux “fille fragile” qui me plait tant.
Bref, je l’aime beaucoup n___n

Je m’en souviens moi de cette review, vu comme j’ai galéré a faire des photos correctes ^^
Mais oui cette Sora est tres jolie et peu surement se trouver a pas trop trop chere.
