Another Nanoha ? From Alter again ? Why bother making a detailed review ?
Why indeed, i don’t like saying the same thing again and again. It’s a figure from Alter so as always, i don’t have much to say about the overall quality. As for the figure itself, well it’s Nanoha but in her younger self this time. So lolicons friends rejoice !
This Stand By Ready version of Nanoha (coming from the movie) is without any surprise the best version of young Nanoha available, way better than the now old Good Smile version. Not as impressive as her adult version, she compensates this with the two forms of Raising Heart that can be displayed beside Nanoha on a little base. And the way she is standing high over the base mades her look like she’s really floating, a nice touch. Painting is as always with Alter perfectly done and there’s nothing wrong to signal quality wise. A great figure for all the Nanoha fans and lolicons out there (lots !).
Nanoha Stand By Ready gets 4.5 Exelica out of 5.

Je préfère sur fond noir ^^ Oui râleuse je sais. Je préfère la version adulte mais faut avouer qu’Alter a encore sortit le grand jeu. Vivement leur Fate!

While I think ALTER did an excellent job on all characters from StrikerS, I think they did completely wrong with this “Movie version”. I really don’t like how the face has been made, and sadly it is enough to ruin the whole figure. But well, that’s just my opinion after all ^^;
Lovely shots! Those with black bg are gorgeous, with greater contrasts compared to the white ones I think.

I can’t agree with you as her face is exactly like in the movie. And compared to the not so good Good Smile version, i think this one is way better. But yeah it’s only my opinion too :p

best (younger) nanoha figure i know of on the market, was nice to get her so soon after exceed nanoha ^^ not sure what lu-k didn’t like about the face… though that’s at least the second time i’ve heard of people being concerned about it so he’s not alone.

Actually, I think her head has the wrong shape, oval like a rugby ball. To me the face looks flattened, especially when looking at her from side angles and it is really shocking imo. Moreover, this neutral expression is too weird for Nanoha. Would be ok for Fate, but not Nanoha, she is too expressive. And the more I see pictures or clips from the movie, the more I am convinced this figure’s face is completely off. And, to me once again, that’s really sad as the whole body is just amazing, but the face ruins everything.
I know my eye sight is bad though ^^;; Haha anyway, I am just trying to explain a bit clearly why I have been disappointed by this figure, and not trying to say who is right or wrong and which figure is the best ~_^

Well it’s you opinion, even with your explanation i can’t agree with you, i think this one IS Nanoha and goes well with her adult version. But anyway, i prefer the 1/4 swimsuit :p

Excellent photos of Nanoha! Especiallly adore how in the black background ones you can’t even see the metal bars holding her up thanks ot the expert lighting, makes it seem as if she’s really flying. Very well done! ^^
Won’t be getting this Nanoha figure version though since I already have Alter’s terrific adult Nanoha figure version.

Nice pics ! I would have made a close-up on the finger that is going to pull the trigger of Raising Heart. That’s a nice detail
As I am concerned, I prefer the white background because the reflecting light shows better that the small red sphere of Raging Heart is translucent.
I agree a bit with what lu-k said about the face (its expression is not exactly the general spirit state of Nanoha) but I don’t care and the rest is gorgeous.

Elle est peut etre moins impressionante comme tu le dis que la version adulte, mais je trouve quand meme qu’elle est plus dynamique que la précédente version, et je lui préfère largement le visage, qui péchait je trouve sur la grande
celle ci pourrait bien me tenter !
