Yuzuko is getting three Exelica out of five.
The good: looks really exactly like the proto shots (all but the chain …), the pose and base are awesome, hair is nicely sculpted.
The bad: WTF IS THAT AWFUL PVC CHAIN ? Where is the great chain that is on all the official shots ? Yes it is indeed in the box but WE CAN’T PUT IT ON THE FIGURE ITSELF. Thank you Good Smile for another fail …
So yeah that’s it, the figure itself is really nice, it got a “Shuraki” feeling and the paint and everything is really nicely done. No defects this time. But why an awful looking pvc chain when we get a real one in the box that we can’t put on the figure ? It’s nice to show us great promotional shots and stuff but is that normal that we can’t have the same figure that is on the box ? I’m sorry but i can’t find a way to put the real chain the same way that it should be … Maybe i’m stupid or something, or maybe it’s another lie from GSC … No comment.
If you liked the Shuraki figures from Good Smile, this one is worth a get. but just don’t expect to put the real chain on her, you’ll just have to do with the fake looking one …

Oh man the first thing i noticed was that the chain looked kinda weird and well thats no wonder when its made from PVC! I wonder why they decided against a real one like BRS with this one but I imagine they couldnt realize the pose with a real one? Maybe the static of the figure became off? No idea but sure a bummer.
Hair hair looks so nice against the white background

Well they did sell the figure as it was a real chain on her (even on the box) so it’s again a lie from GSC. They SUX, i’ll be happy if they stop making scale figures now,they should just work on their f….g nendos and that’s it if they don’t care anymore about scale figures collectors …

It seems that we encountered the same problem. The real chain was a pain… I’m thinking that it’s an alternate option as the fig also comes with an extra link connecting to the ball.

And yes i agree about the extra link and the extra chain, but again, even if we try, we can’t make it look like on the box …

Unfortunately yes… it looks a lot better during the prototype shots -_-. would you agree that they’re better off as two different figs? the peppermint and normal version, I mean.

That’s quite a few GSC figures a row, and at the same time quite a few with disappointment in your book (given that GSC did have a good reputation for some time). Quite a pity to see things coming short of expectations.
So there are no ways for the real chains to be posed dynamically at all? I wonder why it’s included then if it’s not possible (kinda strange for them to do that though IMHO). Not like I would want to use superglue of some kind to keep the real chain in shape… Guess that’s why they got a PVC substitue instead.
Despite that, the figure seems to look quite nice. I like the normal hair ver more than the other one, but it does look like that the latter one has translucent hair which is interesting. Base is also pretty cool too. So this is an original character like those in Shuraki? Not bad other than the chain itself (which can be a shame), but that’s just my opinion judging from your very well lit photoshoots.

She’s a character from a new manga but don’t know much about it. Yeah the base is really nice ^^
You’re right, she is nicely made and i was quite mean with the rating, i was really mad because of the chain. I believe i will give her a better rating, she’s not that bad after all …

It’s a shame about the chain. GSC has been dropping the ball lately with their figures. Guess all the top dogs are too busy over Nendoroids to pay PVCs much mind. As for Yuzuko, the only reason I was ever interested in her is because she reminds me so much of Gurren Lagann’s Nia. I wish they made more Nia figures.

Stylish pose, great hair, pretty eyes but the outfit is booooooring (as plain as Akatsuki Mishiro’s, as you’ve reminded).

dommage pour la chaine … c’est quand même ce qui fait le plus de cette figurine :/
je voulais la prendre car j’aime la 2è version des cheveux …. puis bon comme d’habitude, il faut faire un choix
