Tamaki Kousaka from Max Factory is getting five Exelica out of five.
And Max Factory is back with a masterpiece. This Tamaki won’t appeal to everybody, as she’s quite sexy (and NSFW) and may be hard to display in a room for some, but she looks quite awesome. It’s not a surprise that Max Fact is the best manufacturer when it comes to the painting and the colors, and it shows again, with a nearly perfect skin tone with nice shading. The painting used is again more softer and less saturated than the usual used by the other manufacturers and it looks great, more realistic. And of course the retail version is exactly like the proto shots so you won’t be disappointed. Overall a gorgeous figure, with great colors and a flawless finish. But maybe she is too sexy for you. I think i’ll live :p
The good: – flawless painting and great shading, skin tone is perfect, lovely colors and the base is nice with the soft and fluffy material on it.
The bad: – her boobs are too big ? yeah i know it’s not going to be a problem for everyone

Lovely Tamaki. Her skintones are perfect! Really makes me wish Max Factory did more PVCs these days. I do think that her breasts are way too big. She must need a powerful bra to support those watermelons.

I agree with you when you say that her boobs are too big, I don’t really like how they are squeezed over her hands
even though I wouldn’t declare her as hard to display ok she has big bobbs but she still seems modest enough to me =)
aside from her boobs I like her other curves a lot, the paintjob looks very good as well as her cute face with the shiny eyes

Wow. 5/5 from you huh. Seems like this Tamagi is a must get huh. I definitely agree with you that the boobs are too big. But, who would complain?

Is this the first Max Factory from you that got a 5/5?
Nevertheless, the overall quality exceeds my expectation. As you said there there is quite a bit of emphasis on the shadings here and there, and it sure brings out the depth of the colouring. What really surprises and impresses me is how her fingers cross each other there – the proto one looks rather plain and I think it’s in one whole piece, but here you can see them very clearly and are two proper hands crossing each other.
And yea quite NSFW, but that’s Tamaki that we know ^^;

Very nice review. I really like how your photos came out for this figure. Seems like you used a different technique than your other recent reviews.
Max’s Tamaki looks quite stunning here. I’m not too sure it’s my favorite pose for her (as compared to some of the other figures out there), but the execution definitely looks spot-on. Even the display base looks much better than average. Is it wood or just painted plastic?
