Momohime 1/8 (Alter) review

Momohime is getting five Exelica out of five.. No surprise, i know.
The good: – beautiful base, great pose (very classy) – very nice colors and painting is top notch – Looks great besides Mercedes and Gwendolyn.
The bad: – the price maybe?
With Momohime, we can see that the people from Alter took all the best points from Mercedes and improved everything. She looks even better and is more finely painted. I always said that Max Factory was the best manufacturer when speaking of paint quality, well it looks like it’s starting to change. The quality of the paint and the colors are perfect and the skin tone is good too. Really nice job from Alter, i’ll hope we’ll see more of the characters from Odin Sphere and Muramasa soon.
Anyway, it’s a must have for everyone, but i know you all preordered her already, right ?

I just got mine today too! And I have to say, I was as satisfied as you are. The price may be a little steep but it’s worth it

After reading this SOOOO glad i got this figure looks amazing!! had to pay customs on mine which sucks but oh well I’m sure It’ll be worth it!!! ^^

Yeah mine is standing on my desk ,I’ll review her a bit later.
It’s so nice that they could transfer the colorful character from the 2D game into a figure in such a good way, she looks so different than my other figures, I love all the details on her.
Imo her price was fair, actually I paid more money for less perfect figures XD

for the price it was more to find something bad to say about her but i agree with you that her price was fair.
but the prices of figures in general is really becoming more and more high …

Cette Momohime est vraiment magnifique. La scupture est parfaite et les couleurs bien flashi (mais pas trop). Comme tu l’as dit, exposée aux côtés de Gwendolyn et Mercedes, elle doit vraiment tout déchirer.
Un coup de coeur pour moi? Sans l’ombre d’un doute. Et quand je vois certains chipoter pour rien … ca m’énerve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice review and good pictures. I love the shallow depth of field on some of them, where her hands and face are in focus but the rest of her not.
I think I disagree with you on her price being an issue. For the quality of her I think her price is rightly justified and entirely correct. Comparing her to other manufacturers, she’s competitively priced, yet beyond all of them in terms of quality. I’d say she’s a deal compared to her rivals.

Vraiment une belle sculpture, avec un visage original cette fois-ci, tant au niveau de l’expression que le style. La base est sympa aussi ^^ Non, en soit c’est une très belle fig, dont seul le prix peut rebuter un peu ^^ On la reçut y a quelques jours, faudra que je trouve le temps d’en faire une review ^^ J’aime beaucoup l’avant dernière photo ^^

I just got mine today, I still haven’t open her box, lol my other figures are not worth sharing a spot with her. I don’t buy a lot of figures and so far this is the most expensive one I got, but I would say it’s the only one I can justify with the expense.

Meh….Everyone has their Momohime and I am still waiting for mine because Customs is doing weird things with her.My package arrived in Germany on the 13th and still no mail from the customs office. :/ I want my awesome Alter Figure now!
