Sanada Yukimura V1 vs Sanada Yukimura V2 (Alter/Hobby Japan) review

. Missed me ? No ? Thought so :’(
I’m lucky enough to have the two version of the cute Sanada from Alter so i took some pics to help people choose the best one.
I know lots of people missed the first one (V1) but preordered the V2. So is the V2 as good as the first one ? Did Alter made some improvements or did the overall quality took a hit down ?
Check the pics and try to spot the difference(s) ! (V2 on left, V1 on right)
So ? Did you spot any differences ?
There is indeed at least one (two if you count the obvious mouth that was changed, but everyone knows that) but it’s really just a small change. Sanada’s skin tone is a little more pink”ish” in the V2 version. The yellow”ish” skin tone of the V1 was the only “flaw” for me of the first version, so it’s great that they changed it a bit. It’s not easy to see in the pics, but in real you can see the difference.
But other than this, the quality is the same for the Sanada’s. The paint quality is the same, colors are still great and the details (lots) are still there. Overall, Sanada (either one) is an awesome figure from Alter and easily one of the best figure you can have in your collection. I believe that everyone should have one so if you can find a place to buy her, do it and fast ! Because the prices on Ebay are going up …
Sanada is getting five Exelica out of five.
The good: – Great pose, perfect painting and nice colors. It’s an Alter figure all right.
The bad: – Hard to find, price is quite high … Why are all the Sanada’s exclusive ?
If i had to choose one, it would be the V2 for the better skin tone and her smile. But the more serious face V1 and the fact that she is more hard to get can be a real bonus for figures collectors.
Either way, you can’t get wrong with any of there two versions.

Un retour définitif ou passager ?? En tout cas, ravie de voir de nouvelles photos
Je t’avouerais qu’à part le visage, je n’avais pas percuté la couleur de peau. Je préfère la V2 ^__^

Hum retour passager. J’avais fais d’autres séances photos mais vu que les 3/4 des photos que je fais sont ratées, j’abandonne a chaque fois …
Le jour ou j’aurais les moyens de me payer un nouvel apn, je posterai plus souvent.
Oui la couleur de peau c’est minime, mais quand on a les deux en face, c’est flagrant

Ooooh~ such a vibrant cutie! It’s great to see a comprehensive comparison – especially as genki ver 2 Yukimura is destined to make her way into my collection this summer! Great review as always (^_~) I missed ya baby!

Superbes figurines qui méritaient bien une review de ta part.
Bien que les différences entre les deux Sanada soient minimes, j’ai tout de même une petite préférence pour la V2 (principalement pour l’expression du visage).
Pour moi, elles valent amplement les 5 Exelica que tu leurs as attribué.
Concernant les deux dernières Shining Wind version Swimsuit sorties à ce jour, je trouve Clalaclan bien plus jolie et sexy que Xecty. Bizarrement, à la vue des prototypes, j’aurais plutôt dit le contraire.
Malheureusement, comme j’ai dû me séparer de la plus belle des 4 (alias Seena), je suis contraint de faire l’impasse sur ces deux beautés.

I must admit that I like the Angry Face of V1 alot more than the face of V2.Shes a really,really nice figure but that fact that shes a loli AND voiced by Rie Kugimiya make me dislike her alot XD

I love the two versions, can’t really choose, that’s why i bought the two
My DSLR won’t work better, i’ll need to buy a new one. Maybe next year …

Ah, she’s such a lovely figure. White mizugi is especially tempting ^^; I didn’t know there was a second version though >_<. Man, I should have been paying attention, I probably would have ordered her. Also, lovely Mikoto <3
