Amiami Zero version of the cute Yukimura Sanada didn’t disappoint. I wasn’t expecting much but i was hoping to get a cute and good figure. Well she is cute and nicely made.

If i had to define this figure, i would say it’s a Megahouse figure with Alter qualities. I mean, her pose and the actual feeling makes me thing of all Megahouse figures, a little too static but still cute. And the painting and finish is near Alter quality. So yeah, it’s a great figure for Sanada fans all right.

The good: – great painting and finish – cute pose – cute base, better than Alter’s version – Looks good from any angle – One of the best cast off as you can’t see the lines and separates parts when you look at her.

The bad: – the cast off, i don’t like having to disassemble my figs – exclusive (again).

Sanada V3 is getting five Exelica out of five.

Not a lots of pics this time, but bigger ones and i think that’s enough to see that this retail version of Tsumugi is better than the proto shots.

I heard lots of people complaigning about her face, well now i think she looks quite great. In fact i just lover her face, and having a figure with beautifuly painted eyes, an actual mouth with a tongue and some teeth, is a nice change from usual. And the way she smiles, with a blush, you can’t say no to that.

You can compare the proto pics to the actual retail version, it’s easy to see how much they improved her. As you may know, i’m not a fan of K-On at all, but i do love this Tsumugi from Freeing. And i did get her just because i forgot to cancel my order. For once, i’m glad i did. Give her a chance, you won’t regret it.

Oh, and i love her box, simple and classy at the same time. I’ll may be getting the other girls if they look that good. And they should.

This time, Good Smile didn’t disappoint and this Rin is not far from perfect. She looks exactly like the proto shots so i have no complains. The glossy paint used on her is not too glossy and shading is used too. So no, it doesn’t look cheap at all. It looks classy. And i won’t even speak of her hair, just gorgeous and perfectly done. Fot those who were scared of her pose and the fact that she could break because of her one foot pose, i believe it’ll be fine. the metal bar on the base seems good and solid enough, and Rin is nicely balanced and not too heavy. So it should be fine.

So yeah, this Rin is the best Rin available, you should buy her if your a fan of her or just fan of beautiful girls.

Rin is getting five Exelica out of five.

Hope you liked the pics. This Sonico looks really nice and is sexy without being vulgar. It’s a great buy for those who love Sonico. The paintjob is nicely done, details are there and the cast off is, for once, nicely made. I’m not in the mood to do a “normal review” and i think the pics are good enough to help you decide for yourself if you want her or not. And you should, Sonico is awesome.

Heya . Missed me ? No ? Thought so :’(

I’m lucky enough to have the two version of the cute Sanada from Alter so i took some pics to help people choose the best one.

I know lots of people missed the first one (V1) but preordered the V2. So is the V2 as good as the first one ? Did Alter made some improvements or did the overall quality took a hit down ?

Check the pics and try to spot the difference(s) ! (V2 on left, V1 on right)

So ? Did you spot any differences ?

There is indeed at least one (two if you count the obvious mouth that was changed, but everyone knows that) but it’s really just a small change. Sanada’s skin tone is a little more pink”ish” in the V2 version. The yellow”ish” skin tone of the V1 was the only “flaw” for me of the first version, so it’s great that they changed it a bit. It’s not easy to see in the pics, but in real you can see the difference.
But other than this, the quality is the same for the Sanada’s. The paint quality is the same, colors are still great and the details (lots) are still there. Overall, Sanada (either one) is an awesome figure from Alter and easily one of the best figure you can have in your collection. I believe that everyone should have one so if you can find a place to buy her, do it and fast ! Because the prices on Ebay are going up …

The good: – Great pose, perfect painting and nice colors. It’s an Alter figure all right.

The bad: – Hard to find, price is quite high … Why are all the Sanada’s exclusive ?

If i had to choose one, it would be the V2 for the better skin tone and her smile. But the more serious face V1 and the fact that she is more hard to get can be a real bonus for figures collectors.
Either way, you can’t get wrong with any of there two versions.

Momohime is getting five Exelica out of five.. No surprise, i know.

The good: – beautiful base, great pose (very classy) – very nice colors and painting is top notch – Looks great besides Mercedes and Gwendolyn.

The bad: – the price maybe?

With Momohime, we can see that the people from Alter took all the best points from Mercedes and improved everything. She looks even better and is more finely painted. I always said that Max Factory was the best manufacturer when speaking of paint quality, well it looks like it’s starting to change. The quality of the paint and the colors are perfect and the skin tone is good too. Really nice job from Alter, i’ll hope we’ll see more of the characters from Odin Sphere and Muramasa soon.

Anyway, it’s a must have for everyone, but i know you all preordered her already, right ?

Senhime gets 4 Exelica out of 5

The good: – clothes are beautiful, love the colors – painting is top notch – looks great is you expose her beside Jubei

The bad: – she looks kinda inexpressive here and has a kinda bland look on her face. She misses the provocative expression and pose Jubei has. So some people won’t like her because of this.
