Here’s the biggest Nanoha figure ever , standing at 39 cm high (1/4 scale) . I was surprised to see that it was in fact Gift that made this one , and not Good Smile like it was announced . I guess Good Smile is just the distributor this time . And quality wise , it’s Gift allright , with a nearly perfect quality and a great overall look . This Nanoha is not as impressive as the Gift’s Yoko (because of the awesome details Yoko has on the clothes) but a little bikini is always less awesome i guess . Still , Nanoha is without any doubt , one of the most impressive figures ( by her size) and the ultimate swimsuit figure ever.

The base is a white round one , nothing spectacular but it looks solid enough to keep the figure in place . Because yes , Nanoha is quite heavy (sorry Nanoha), being half ABS … And yes you’ve seen it right , this figure needs a big metal bar and a support to help her stands . It’s not a real problem , as the metal bar is hidden behind her right leg and the support is really hard to spot . So good job from Gift.

The paint job on Nanoha is quite good , better than on other 1/4 figures (like the FREeing bunnies) , with more details and no bad spots . The paint used for her skin tone is fine , with good use of shading and Nanoha’s sexy little bikini is sweet too , painted in a pearlish pink color . Nanoha’s body is greatly scuplted , with lots of details and she seems quite happy letting us look at her . My favorites parts about this figure are her hands and feet , really nicely detailed , and all nails pink painted of course . Her hair looks great too and her eyes are beautiful , and are not glossy , way better than the FREeing bunnies again …

A really big stunning figure , she is truly the best swimsuit figure ever . Nanoha fan or not , you can’t say no to this beautiful and really sexy girl .

And here’s finally the Ranka from MegaHouse . As the first (and for now) only non limited Ranka available on the market , she was expected by the fans a lot . And no , she won’t disapointed anyone , but i don’t understand MegaHouse on this one … Look at the proto shots , her face was off and she was looking quite bad with less detailed eyes and a strange mouth . Now look at the retail version , her face looks more accurate and is way cuter . That’s a good thing , so what’s the problem ? Well problem is , even on the box the pics are from the proto version , yes on the box of the ACTUAL retail version … What is the point of doing this ? They don’t want to sell this figure or what ?

But anyway , the good things is , she’s better than the proto shots and actually looks like Ranka (minus the hair color , you have to get the very hard to find limited edition to get that right) . It’s nice to see that the people at MegaHouse did correct her face , i preordered her because she was the only Ranka available but now i’m glad i did . She is surely the best Ranka for now , with a really nice pose , nice colors and a great face . And the base is quite good .

8.5/10 A great Ranka figure , with a really cute face and nicely detailed eyes . Her body is very detailed too , with a nice sculpt and a sweet pose . And she is cast off , i know you like it .

Here’s the second girl from the swimsuits trio made by Kotobukiya . After a nice Hinagiku figure , Kotobukiya just released the sweet but spoiled girl Nagi and again , she’s quite a cutie . It’s strange that the people at Kotobukiya are making lots of not so great 1/8 figures , but very nice 1/6 ones (look at the Doa Venus series or Suzu …) .

Nagi is depicted kneeling in the “sand” (a translucent base) with a pink balloon helping her stand , while she points her right hand at us . This figure is surely not for the loli haters , but for a lolicon like me (yeah i know , i’m guilty , you can throw rocs at me) she’s really attractive (in a cute way …) because of her nice and dynamic pose . The way her hair is flowing in the wind and her big smile are sure helping an already sweet figure . Her bikini is cute too , with big stars on it (but oppai lovers won’t be happy , nothing to see there , DFC spotted) .

For those who already got Hinagiku , there is no surprise with Nagi , the painting is solid , with good colors and if you love your girls happy , you can order Nagi right now , as her face is just too cute .

8.5/10 A totally cute and sweet dynamic figure , with nice painting and no real flaws . But if you don’t like loli and if you’re searching for oppai , she’s definitely not for you .

The Good Smile version of Sakura is more simple than the more dynamic Alter version . So why choosing this one ? I guess it depend of people taste . I personally think maids ouftfit are too much used on figures and the yukata from the Good Smile version is a nice change . Sakura looks so cute and delicate in this that it’s hard to not buy her . But Alter version is more fun/crazy and totally showing the personality of Sakura in the anime . So if you really a fan of this girl , you know you’ll have to buy the two versions .

Technically we have a really nice looking figure , with a sweet pose and a beautiful outfit , but maybe too simple . The painting is indeed good , like we expect from Good Smile but there’s nothing really impressive , it’s just on par with previous Good Smile figures . Still , the yukata is really gorgeous and i just love it .

8/10 A nicely made figure , but not impressive in any way . Still , Sakura is a sweet girl in pretty clothes , you can’t say no to a yukata …

Don’t forget to check the Alter maid version of Sakura at Meronpan’s .

Here’s finally the 1/5 Yoko from Gift . The proto shots were already looking good but the retail version is at least as much impressive ! This Yoko is quite big (even with the pose) and very detailled for a 1/5 figure . Usually i find bigger figures less detailled than their 1/8 counterparts , but that’s not the case here . People from Gift have made an impressive job making this Yoko and it’s great to see that they bring us what they promised .

Technically , i can’t find anything bad to say about this Yoko , everything is just flawless and , personal opinion , looks better than any Alter or Max Factory figure i’ve seen lately … The paint job is impressive and the choice to make the hair not shiny was the best one (and it’s good to see a real beautiful red on Yoko’s hair for once …) . Her clothes are painted with shiny colors and very detailled too (look at those thigh high and those boots !) and Yoko’s body curves are sure to charm any figure collector . But what makes me so in love with her must be her eyes (real ones that is , even if the other ones are nice too) , so stunning and painted to the perfection . Yoko’s face is just mesmering and i can’t stop looking at her . And that’s a proof of a great figure and it’s the way it should always be . And i forgot , the round mirror base is awesome too .

9.6/10 The best Yoko available , period . And a stunning figure , with flawless painting , a great (and sweet) pose , beautiful colors and a mirror base . Did i say her face was the most awesome ever ?

Here’s Alter version of our favorite tsundere , the awesome Louise . Standing at a good 20 cm (1/8 scale) , Louise is depicted showing us her new maid uniform (with a gothic punk style) . I know all Louise fans were waiting for this release for long , and now that she’s here , i can only say that nobody will be disapointed . People at Alter , as usual , did a great job and this Louise is going to please everyone who love the character .

The paint job is great , with a particular attention to details on Louise ribbons and her boots . The colors used are not flashy or anything , and that’s a great choice , as it makes her look more “realistic” in a way … Louise is detailled nearly everywhere , her clothes looks great and her face and eyes are really beautiful . Stunning eyes color is always a plus . But the best part must be her hair , and the ribbons in it . I just LOVE it , it’s a great idea and it’s so pretty . And it makes Louise stands out from all the other maids figures (and there is a lot !) in the market . The base (especially being from Alter) is quite great , looking good and not being big as usual . Nice choice , i sure hope they”ll try to make more good bases like that one …

9/10 The best Louise figure available yet . An overall flawless figure , with a great base , great colors and painting and beautiful eyes and hair . Another great work from Alter .

And here’s the second figure from the Gekisou trio , the very cute Mikuru . I won’t make a full review , as there is no surprise if you already got Haruhi …

The retail version is , as always with Max Factory , exactly like the proto shots , so there’s no disapointement with that . The painting is well done , with lots of details everywhere and Mikuru’s pose is nice and sweet . Speaking of her pose , i know lots of people are complaining about her right leg , i’m sorry but i don’t really thing it’s a problem . Girls can easily do that pose (i know , i asked a friend to do it ^^) so i believe it’s all good . Personaly it’s my favorite Mikuru figure (with the Griffon version being second) so if you’re a Mikuru fan , you know what to do .

8.6/10 A great figure overall , with no flaws or anything . Surely the best Mikuru available for now .

I’m so late this time , sorry about that . These two were available last december , just in time for Christmas . Sold separately , they’re meant to be put together , thanks to the (very) big base in Haruna box . Made by Shueisha , they didn’t have lots of success so now you can finally see if you need to buy them or not .

I can’t say that i am impressed with Shueisha work , but they did a better job than with their previous Lala … On the technical side , the painjob is correct , the poses and bases are fine too and there is no big flaw anywhere to be seen . Still , it’s not enough , everything is just “ok” but not more . There’s nothing on those two girls that’s screaming “buy me !” or anything . So yes , this Lala and Haruna set is only a nice looking set put together , but don’t expect much more than that . There is better figures of Lala and Haruna available out there .

And another Gathering figure from E2046 . Based from a garage kit by Vispo , Raqel is now available in three prepainted versions made by E2046 (you can see the others here) .

As expected from people at E2046 , i have no complains about this one , i’m totally happy with her . The colors used are really nice and the painting is well done . The best parts on Raqel are the hair , love them (but really easy to break , need to be so careful touching her) , and the beautiful base . I mean , it’s a clock , how awesome is that ? There is some great details everywhere on her , she looks pretty nice (but not as great as Dip Mou) and with her weapon , she’s sure going to appeal to all fans of armed girls .

8.6/10 . A great looking prepainted figure , nicely painted with nice details and standing on an awesome looking base . Great job from E2046 . Must buy if you like your girls with big weapons .

I won’t write a full review , as you can find lots everywhere on the web . Coming from Max Factory , this Haruhi is exactly as expected , looks 90% like the proto shots (some little color change but nothing really important) and with some nice details and a great painting . This one is my first Haruhi (yes,really) and i’m really happy i got her . So what are you waiting for ? Go get her !
