Here’s Alter’s first figure from the game “Odin Sphere” (great Atlus game btw) .
Gwendolyn was already available as a 1/5 resin kit (the review is on here too) but this is the first one making the way to PVC .
And what a way to finish the year , Alter shows us again that they are the best figures makers .

Naturally this version is not as imposing as the previous kit but with the beautiful base and the nice “preparing to fly/jumping” pose , she stands between 30 and 40 cm ! (depending on how you put her lance) . So she IS tall , thanks to the best designed and painted base ever . And technically speaking , she is so detailled , the wings are absolutly stunning , with a clear material used and gradient colors in it . The clothes are great as well , the metalic parts are looking really metalic and her face and hair are painted to the perfection .

If you ever played the game , i think you can only see that she IS indeed Gwendolyn , the guys from Alter did really respect the chara design of the game and it’s another proof of quality . Another good point is that you don’t have to put the wings and stuff on the figure , she’s made in one piece , you just have to put her on the base and put the lance in her hands . It’s always nice to have a real PVC figure , instead of a PVC kit , like we are getting a lot lately …

Perfect work , great looking base + awesome/impressive figure + stunning painting and a great pose = a masterpiece from Alter . I have NO complains at all , Gwendolyn is flawless , at least if you like the style of the character . The only downside is maybe the fact that she may lean someday but she seems nicely balanced so i wouldn’t worry about that …

Best figure of the year BY FAR , and surely Alter’s masterpiece .
