I was surprised to find that Ilya , never heard about it or never saw her before . So i just had to get her , being a big Ilya fanboy . She was out in August of last year , but only available via the Hobby Japan of march (by Hobby Japan mail order) . She stand at a good 220 mm (240 with the base) and at 1/6 . She is sculpted by Takeshi Miyagawa .

There’s only three Ilya out there and this one is the only chance to get a good figure of her without a swimsuit (the one by Kotobukiya is too little , and not so great in my opinion) .

The only problem with this one is that the manufacturer is Clayz , and i’m not very fond of their works , plains figures and not so much details … We’re going to see if this one is better than their previous/usual work .

The box . Plain but cute color . Still , nothing really exciting …

Officialy licensed by Type Moon and made by Clayz for Hobby Japan

The pose shows us Ilya in a cute way , looking shy , far from her warrior state in Fate/stay night .

I think lots of angles makes that fig looking bad , because of the non conventional pose .

Clayz choose to do her skin whiter than Alter’s and Kotobukiya’s work . She looks more like in the novel/tv show but can looks strange compared to other figs in a collection . Clayz is not know for using bright colors too …

The biggest problem with Clayz in this case is the way the hair is done . We’ll see that in another pic .

Hair looks ok , juste funny . Ilya looks cute as usual .

Hair doesn’t looks ok , looks flat and i don’t like how Clayz always make bad work on hair … could have been better i think .

Her face is probably the best part about that figure , i love Ilya and her eyes are really beautiful , nicely painted .

See ? i didn’t lie about the base , kinda better than the usual stuff .

So that’s it , it’s a fine looking figure of Ilya and a usual work from Clayz . Nothing really bad , nothing really great , just ok . I was a little disapointed because i thought Clayz would do a better job on this one , being a Hobby Fan exclusive and limited but not really …

Still it’s a great figure for Ilya fans , she’s the biggest one out (Alter’s swimsuit one is close, with of course better sculpt and painting) and i like her a lot .
